I mean I get that it is because of the month, but due to the current craze over Identity Politics that seems to plaguing nearly ALL of media these days I really cannot help but get slightly annoyed by articles like this. And I've noticed that since gaming, comics, etc. have become more mainstream, a lot of people (mostly newcomers) act as though whenever a female or "minority" character has a large presence that it is some sort of revolutionary crowning achievement that CONSTANT...
Agreed.
I remember a time where some mockingly called Uncharted a "Tomb Raider Clone". Now, in an ironic twist of fate, this franchise is trying to be "the clone", so to speak. Tomb Raider lost its identity, imo.
Shame too. Imagine what can be done with its classic formula with this generation's hardware.
Indeed. They should just focus on, and continue, making expansions for their non-VR games. Especially Honey Select. That game has quite the modding community.
Again, Illusion & KT should just collaborate already. I think Illu. can really benefit from Soft Engine 2.0 or just the overall polish that collaboration can bring to their games.
Lol Just play Honey Select and get it out of your system.
Speaking of which, Illusion and KT should collaborate already.
Sadly, I don't think they are going to go back and fix the lifeless expressions of the characters in this game. I've noticed the same thing with Tekken 7's in-game character models when comparing character faces/expressions to Tag Tournament 2's. I am going to assume this may be the result of their lack of experience with Unreal 4, I dunno, but I wouldn't say making it more anime-like is the answer.
Feminism
Because without double standards, they'd have no standards.
I wish they could go back and do the same for Anarchy Reigns as well. There weren't enough people playing it online and I really wanted to play it with friends offline.
Didn't think it would happen. Looks like I'm getting a Switch.
This and Soul Calibur VI made my entire month for announcements.
A heartbreaking shame indeed.
I agree the tech isn't there in this particular game. I was responding to the point of why people are obsessed with these things. But, yeah, I understand.
However, with the way things are today, I am willing to bet escort services will become a danger zone in a matter of time. The laws are getting crazier and crazier by the year. Best of luck to you.
Gee, i dunno. Maybe because it is increasingly becoming more dangerous for straight men to participate in the "dating game". Can you honestly blame any man, especially in the west, who would rather not put themselves in harms way by the methods their lives can be destroyed with for merely being in a casual relationship these days?
Do not get me started on marriage. Its rates are decreasing for a reason.
Something like this, a RealDoll, an Illusi...
I hope Bioware saw this lol
This game has become one of the best memes in gaming in recent time.
Thanks George Soros

I look forward to it. RR2 was love at first sight, especially that split-screen multiplayer.
I know what music I'll be racing to.

Yeah, I agree about the heavy focus on relationships. I think after the whole Zoe Quinn incident, people are a lot more on edge about that sort of concept.
Unbelievable. If this weren't hurting the industry, I'd think I might have laughed myself silly at that tripe.
And people wondered what they've meant when giving their reasons as to why they wouldn't localize it out here. But let me guess, this is still somehow a "marketing ploy"? Tch
It would seem more eastern devs/publishers are starting to catch on to the gender/identity politics driven media that's starting to become a blight on this industry. I expect more censorship and non-localization of more and more games in the years to come thanks to this.
...
I beg to differ on that part on GamerGate. It's thanks to it, those in the industry now know they cannot play with people's trust any longer and not get called out on it. Unfortunately, some still do though. People can say what they want about the movement and spin it however they like, but it has for a fact brought a massive amount of attention to the corruption and unethical practices in this industry's media and even those outside of it.
Look no further than ...
Indeed.
